Who we are
Welcome. We are Sam and Lucas, two friends who's ambition has been to open a guesthouse for many years. We now have two, Fern House, a renovated Georgian House in the quaint Saint Lukes area of Cork City and Westways House, our rooms with a view, alongside the cathedral in Cobh. We have been up and running since early 2023 and we really look forward to welcoming you to our homes.
Fern House - Cork
Fern House is a renovated Georgian House in the quiet neighbourhood of Saint Lukes in Cork City. Lucas is the host and loves making a home-from-home environment and spending time with guests (unless of course you'd like to keep to yourself). We have a fully equipped kitchen where a lot of guests like to cook meals and hang out with Lucas or other guests. There is a TV room with a huge 62 inch cinema TV for evening down time and a glass room which is nice to enjoy, when the weather isn't too cold. Theres also a garden which captures the evening sun so a great quiet spot to read your book or relax with have a glass of wine/coffee.
Westways House - Cobh
Westways House opened it's doors in May of 2024 after an 8 month renovation. Consisting of 3 separate flats we have designed it to be quite private and to make the most of the amazing views over the harbour. It's a perfect place to take a breather and watch the boats sail by. Sam lives downstairs so is always on hand for when you may have a question or feel like having a chat about the area.
